Speaking of science matters, I was interviewed by the lovely Tempest (who attends the same university as I do) for her feature on woman scientists who are also bloggers. It's really awesome (and not just because I'm part of it) so you should go check that out once you've finished reading my magazine. You can read the interview here.
Also, please try to ignore the fact that my face is in these photos, today was not a good photo day. Today was one of those days when the outfit seemed decent enough inside the house but the moment I got outside I felt like I stuck out like a sore thumb. Luckily I only had to go to the supermarket before I ran back inside to change back into pyjamas. Also you may notice the fancy backdrop for my photos of the magazine, my new Orla Kiely pillow cases that I found at T.K. Maxx for a discounted price. Thank you T.K. Maxx!

It's interesting, your interaction with Science :)
ReplyDeleteThe real dope in those pics is the shade of blue you are wearing!^^

I hate the days when I go out and end up feeling like that about my outfit. The color of your skirt looks beautiful, though. Especially against the green backdrop.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on both the magazine and the interview! The mag looks beautiful and I really liked running into the landfill article.
Wow, you did some really lovely design work! The magazine looks so great!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new job with the student magazine - sounds like a fantastic experience and the layout looks great, really fresh! And any post that starts with a pun is a winner to me : )

ReplyDeleteHee hee hee. I may have to steal that joke. You've been warned :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully designed magazine - my friend who is an immunobiology major always says the scientists have no design abilities - but this is awesome! I love your outfit too - how amazing is that coat? But seriously, that magazine...I"m wildly impressed.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is awesome, really glad I found it!Also, even though science isn't really an interest of mine, that magazine looks brilliant.
